Here’s the compatibility gotcha: CrownSeal and the Cerfractory Foam system are not interchangeable for the same damage profile. CrownSeal over a crown that’s actively losing material is a short-term patch. We’ve seen this misapplied on older homes in the North End where a previous owner tried the cheaper coating route on a crown that needed foam resurfacing or full replacement.
